About Unique Spec Group
Unique Spec Group designs, installs and repairs roller shutter doors from two branches — Roodepoort and Krugersdorp — and does the work with its own technicians rather than subcontracting it. There is no call centre in between; the people who quote the job are the people who do it.
Doors are built to the opening rather than pulled from a range of standard sizes. On older industrial buildings and on homes with low lintels or sloped driveways that distinction is usually the whole job, because a stock door either does not fit or fits badly enough to fail early.
Both branches hold spare parts in stock, which is the practical reason response times are short: the common failures on a roller door are a small set of parts, and having them on the shelf turns a two-visit job into one. Ten years in, the group counts over 5,000 installations and repairs.

What is different about a custom-built door?
